Welcome to Redwood Hair Co. My space and approach to my work is inspired by the costal cliffs of California. THE SUN bleaches rugged cliff lines and brightens whatever its golden rays can touch. However, the sun is also intentional in the way it raises and falls each day. This act of nature has inspired my detailed and customized approach to hair. Not all head of hair is created equally nor is everyone’s experience the same. Together, we can work on telling your story and creating your dream hair. EXPLORE away from the water and you’ll find a secluded forest of Redwood trees. The ancient woods create a canopy of shelter and have a way of making you feel as though the present world can no longer reach you. My goal is to minimize any traditional salon disruptions. Dizzying conversations, echoing blowdryers and overstimulating music will not be found in my space. Our time together is intentional and I’ve always believed hair to be an intimate experience. My clients deserve to find comfort in our time. Don’t be afraid to take this time for what you need. Do your makeup during your blowout, order lunch for yourself and enjoy it, put your phone on DND and ignore it, read that book you’ve been pushing off, fill me in what’s happening in your life… because I actually do care, and want to see you succeed. AS THE TRESS and golden sun meets in the sky, only a few rays of light are capable of slipping through the branches. I believe in intentional work, regardless of the pace. So often is the hair industry offering a “quick, in and out” experience and missing the beauty, intention and the passion of creation. In the inbetweens is where we find answers AND solutions to your hair concerns. When all your stylist can worry about is when their next client is arriving and the rushing begins, that’s where you’ll find sloppy mistakes and complacency.
